Whale watching and photographic tour Details

Enjoy superb landscapes and be there at strategic times to capture the best photos in this Baja Photo Safari. Experience the sunset in the Central Desert Natural Park, a sunrise in Cataviña and Guerrero Negro, where you will see the world´s biggest salt mines, and get to know the town of San Ignacio.

In this trip you embark in 2 whale watching trips. We will visit San Ignacio, established in a fertile valley with lots of palms and a beautiful lake. Near the town is the Mision of San Ignacio de Loyola, built in 1786, and kept in good shape, thanks to its volcanic stone construction,

San Ignacio Lagoon is located a couple of hours southeast of town, and into the El Vizcaino Biosphere Reserve, the largest Mexico protected area. It is a natural wonder and a great spot for whale watching.

The trips are made in 26 feet boats that accomodate small groups so you will be close enough to touch a whale if it becomes near.

Another nature beauty you can appreciate during winter season is the migrating birds, some coming from Alaska and Rusia to nest in the warmer climate of Baja California.
